Becoming a Trainer

e-Quality Learning provides software training on Assistive Technology products to help individuals of all ages overcome the challenges of dyslexia, visual impairments, physical or mobility impairments and many other disabilities.​

We’re an incredibly fast-growing company led by a strong management team with considerable experience within the sector. The company uses advances in technology and research which, when combined, deliver to the Learner a learning experience unmatched anywhere in the UK.

We operate throughout the UK and support education, healthcare and employment.

We are always on the lookout for IT Software Trainers to join eQL in our journey to be a world-leading supplier of AT training services. You will be training individuals, students and professionals with a range of disabilities, on computers and specialist software both on-site and remotely.

Expectations

  • You must be able to work on a flexible basis, completing training sessions from 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and at least one day at the weekend.
  • You must have excellent communication skills and a passion for technology.
  • You must be able to spend 5 consecutive days at our Training School in Newcastle.
  • You must be able to travel up to 1.5 hours from your location for training sessions either on public transport or have access to a car.
  • You must be able to train males and females with a range of disabilities.
  • You must have an up-to-date computer capable of running most programs.
  • You must have a reliable broadband internet connection.

The Role

Previous experience in training or teaching roles is preferable but not essential as training will be provided. As part of your development, you will take part in eQL’s Train the Trainer program, complete accredited training days for specific software and if you do not have any formal teaching qualifications we expect you to complete a PTLLS course.
